Why Does My Domain Still Show an Abuse Warning After the Issue Is Resolved?
If your domain issue has already been resolved but you still see an Abuse warning or record, this is usually related to how abuse data is displayed in the system.
How Abuse Records Are Displayed To improve clarity and make the system more accurate, NiceNIC have recently optimized how abuse records are displayed: 1. If a domain is suspended: the abuse record will remain visible regardless of when the report was submitted. This reflects the domain's current compliance status. 2. If a domain is unsuspended: only abuse reports from the most recent 30 days will be displayed, and older resolved records will no longer appear in the main view.
FAQ 1. Do Old Abuse Records Affect My Domain? No. Historical abuse records may still be retained internally for compliance and audit purposes. Once the issue is resolved, these records do not affect normal domain usage. 2. What Should I Do?
If abuse issue on your domain has already been fixed, no further action is required in most cases. The warning will update automatically based on the domain status and timeline.
If not, to better understand the specific reason for the suspension, please check your control panel for the Abuse summary. Please follow these steps: 1) My Account > My Products > Domain Name 2) Click on Abuse (red triangle icon next to the domain) > Abuse Complaint > Complaint Summary Report 3) If the summary report has not been generated, click on "Generate Summary".
Or kindly check the abuse notice from [email protected]. To ensure your response is properly reviewed and accurately recorded within our abuse handling process, we kindly ask that you reply directly to the notice sent from [email protected], including any relevant clarification or supporting information you wish to provide.
