Why Can't I Use Personal Nameservers for Multiple Domains?
Personal nameservers are created under a specific parent domain.
For example:
ns1.yourdomain.com
ns2.yourdomain.com
In this case, the parent domain is: yourdomain.com
Why This Matters
Personal nameservers depend on the parent domain.
If the parent domain expires, is suspended, or has DNS issues, the personal nameservers may stop working.
If other domains are using these nameservers, those domains may also stop resolving.
Example
If another domain, such as example.com, uses:
ns1.yourdomain.com
ns2.yourdomain.com
and yourdomain.com becomes unavailable, then example.com may also become inaccessible.
What We Recommend
For stable DNS management, personal nameservers should normally be used only for the parent domain or domains under the same controlled setup.
If you need nameservers for multiple unrelated domains, we recommend using stable DNS service nameservers instead.
