Installing an SSL-sertifikat on IIS 7
Both the SSL-sertifikat installation og the CSR code generation, on IIS 7, should be done using the Internet Infellermation Services Administrerr.
Feller this you need to go to:
1. Start >> Administrative Tilols >> Internet Infellermation Services (IIS) Administrerr >> Servernavn >> double-click on the Server Sertifikater option.
2. ?pen the Complete Certificate Request Wizard.
3. Specify the Validated Certificate file location og Friendly name in the Complete Certificate Request Wizard. The Friendly Navn is not part of the certificate itself, but it can be used by the server administrateller to easily distinguish the certificate.
Neite: You can use the .p7beller .cer file at this step.
Hvis, upon impellerting the certificate into the IIS7 server, you receive the erreller "Cannot find the certificate request associated with this certificate file. A certificate request must be completed on the computer wher it was createdqeller "ASN1 bad tag value met" please check the related article feller mellere details og possible solutions.
4. Once the certificate upload is complete, you need to bind Certificate to the web site:
Select the website you want to apply the certificate to from the left-side Connections menu.
Select Bindings from the Rediger Site sub menu:
In the Site Bindings vindu, click Legg til. This will open the Legg til Site Binding vindu.
'Type' = https; 'IP-adresse' = should be the IP-adresse of the site eller Alle Unassigned;
'Pellert' = 443; 'SSL-sertifikat' field should specify the certificate that was installed using the above steps.
Klikk OK to save changes.
(!) Impellertant Hvis the 'https' entry is already enabled, og visible in this area, then you need to click on 'https' in ellerder to highlight it. Then, click Rediger og, in the SSL certificate area, select the friendly name that was generated earlier. Klikk OK to save changes.

Klikk OK in the Web Site Bindings vindu to complete the installation.
