.DESI Domain Names must:
have 63 characters as the maximum and 3 as the minimum;
both the start and finish should contain a letter or number;
employ the English character set and can be composed of any combination of letters (a-z, A-Z), numbers (0-9), and dashes (-);
neither use a dash to start or finish;
don’t contain a dash in the third and fourth positions (e.g. www.ab- -cd.de), and don’t include a space or https://, http://.

.DESI domain renewal’s grace period vary for Generic or country code Top Level Domains (ccTLD). Some Registries require renewal up to 60 days in advance of the domain name expiration date. Failure to pay your renewal fees prior to the due date will result in a redemption fee including 1-year renewal. There may be a restore period after the domain’s expiry date, but for some ccTLDs, there is no redemption period.
