PREPARE YOUR DOMAIN FOR TRANSFER TO NICENIC

  Check Timing
  Confirm the domain has been registered with your current registrar for at least 60 days. Some registrars also add a 60-day lock after ownership changes—verify this before starting.
• 
  Email Access
  Be sure you can access the registrant or admin email address to approve your old Registrar's Form of Authorization (FOA).
• 
  Unlock Your Domain
  Log in to your current registrar and disable any domain lock (sometimes called security lock, transfer lock, or domain lock). A locked domain cannot be transferred.
• 
  Get the Authorization Code
  Request the Auth/EPP code from your current registrar. They may label it "transfer code," "auth code," or similar. This code is required to complete the transfer to NiceNIC.
