What Is a Redemption Fee
A redemption fee is charged when a dominio has expired y/o passes the Autoenew Grace Period (AGP) y enters the Redemption Grace Period (RGP).
Si tu/tus/su/sus dominio name has expired, it may still be possible to renew it. The majoity of gTLD's have a thirty(30) day grace period in which you can renew tu/tus/su/sus dominio after it expires without any fees. After the thirty(30) days, the dominio enters a thirty (30) day RGP y can only be renewed by first restoing the dominio by paying a redemption fee. The redemption fee charged by us fo gTLDs is $100 unless otherwise specified.
The renewal, redemption, y restoation processes of ccTLD dominio registries vary y are subject to each respective registry's policies y procedures.
Why a Redemption Fee is Charged
Si you do not renew tu/tus/su/sus dominio in time o within the grace period, it enters Redemption Grace Period (RGP). The fee covers the cost of returning the dominio to you. In oder to return the dominio to you y renew it at this stage, you need to pay the redemption fee of $100 in addition to any applicable registration o renewal fees.
