According to our agreement with ICANN, CNNIC is here to announce that the historical domain registration (".公司" and ".网络" registered before May 30, 2014) and expiration date of ".公司" and ".网络" have been made the following adjustment:

1. Adjustment of registration date

As ICANN stipulated, the registration date of historical domains of ".公司" and ".网络" will be reset to August 21, 2014.
 
2. Adjustment of expiration date

The expiration date of historical domains of ".公司" and ".网络" will be extended to August 21 of the corresponding year or August 21 of the next year, the specific adjustment plan is just as follows:

1) The domains that are expired between January 1 and August 21, the expiration date shall be extended to August 21 of the same year.

Example: "abcd.公司"
Expiration date before Adjustment: February 11, 2015
Expiration date after Adjustment: August 21, 2015

2) The domains that are expired between August 22 and December 31, the expiration date will be extended to August 21 of the next year.

Example: "abcd.网络"
Expiration date before Adjustment: November 25, 2015
Expiration date after Adjustment: August 21, 2016

Note:

(1) Due to the system adjustment based on the requirement of ICANN, the operation services of historical domains of ".公司" and ".网络" , including whois query, fees renewal, transfer, and deletion are temporarily suspended between July 31, 2014 and August 20, 2014. During this period, the expired domain of ".公司" and ".网络" will not be deleted, and the whois query of newly registered domain will not be affected. The above services shall be recovered by August 21, 2014.

(2) Due to the system adjustment between May 30, 2014 and August 20, 2014, the fees renewal service of historical domains are frozen. To ensure that our historical domain registrants can renew fees, CNNIC makes the following adjustment to those domain names expire between April 16, 2014 and August 20, 2014 and automatically renew fees:
Those domain names that expire between April 16, 2014 and August 20, 2014 and automatically renewal will be given 45 days of grace period from August 21, 2014. Registrants are able to apply domain name deletion and refund during this period. After the deletion, a 15-day redemption period will apply. For those registrants who have question of renewal and deletion of this period, please contact your service registrars.
